Firmware Upgrade and Support Policy
QIN prioritizes the security of all devices. In line with industry best practices, we provide ongoing firmware updates—including security patches, bug fixes, and feature enhancements—throughout the supported lifecycle of each product.
Upgrade Guidelines
We are deeply committed to safeguarding user security and privacy, and we deliver comprehensive product maintenance through dedicated technical support and regular software releases. These updates incorporate security improvements, performance fixes, and new features developed in response to user feedback.
Major version updates are typically released on an annual basis, with minor updates issued as needed. In the event of critical security vulnerabilities, we prioritize and expedite the release of necessary patches.
When a firmware update is available, users will receive a notification via the companion app. The update process can be initiated manually by selecting the “Update” button. Installing the latest firmware ensures access to new functionality and an improved user experience.
Security Update Support Cycle
From the release date of each product, the security update support period is at least 2 years and may be extended to 3 years or longer.
